Ring need to swallow their pride and bring back Nigel Collins before they lose any reputation they have left.

I cannot see anything good in going back to only recognizing only the original 8 divisions if that's what you mean.

Amateur boxing has 10 division. Using 10 or 11 division would make pro boxing alot better.

As a determinant of lineage The Ring has likely played out it's role.
i agree. its sad though, this was the best barometer and the fact that in all honesty, it still kind of is, shows you the sad state of belts.

I agree, but that is a dream that will never happen.

I was more thinking of having an Editor with a clue of what to do.

Correct me if im wrong, does it say in the new rules that there is a possibilty that the belt can be awarded to the winner of lets say the number 2 rank in the division vs the number 5? Or number 1 vs number 5? If this is true then that policy sucks, and somehow got the feeling that gbp is trying to award a ring belt to someone underserving lets say canelo? Lols just saying...

So we could have a ring champ from 2 beating 5, then 1 beats 3 but isn't awarded the title because number 2 has it.

The ring has absolutely no credibility left. It's owned by GBP which is probably one of the biggest conflicts ever in the sport ( that is if anybody gave a **** about Ring Magazine anymore). Who cares what they say or do. The once proud "Bible of Boxing" has been reduced to a rag of a magazine owned by a promoter....smh

Ring Magazine needs 2 say out of this as they are not really current in a lot of maters...hasn't been a good rag since Randy Gordon was there 30 yrs ago...look @ some of their rankings in various divisions & u r scratching your head over it...
