Floyd didnt choose his words wisely.. He's repeated about taking the test so many times that he wasnt really answering the question about compromising the 50/50 split that Pacquiao wants. Unfortunately, that gives Bob Arum the opportunity to deflect & respond to what Floyd said vs addressing the real issue of the 50/50 split negotiations. Floyd should hire a spokesperson that pretty much knows how to speak common sense to the media at ALL TIMES. The real subject is pretty clear... Just bc Pacman's handlers blew his career up by matching him up with big names but past their prime, doesnt justify his demand of 50/50 split. He simply doesnt deserve the same amount that Floyd is getting. Make no mistake, we all want to see them fight so there's always going to be emotion & opinions involved. But once the dust clears and you follow the history of boxing & how the business works, its pretty obvious that Floyd is the cash cow of boxing, the face of boxing. Love him or hate him, the facts dont lie.. he has broke records in the boxing game & Pacman hasnt. Everything else is just irrelevant. With that being said.. I feel that Bob Arum is still the problem & not pacman or floyd. The issue isnt random blood & urine.. Bob Arum's cash cow of "top rank" is Manny Pacquiao.
Boxing's cash cow is Floyd Mayweather. There's the difference right there. Bob Arum matches Pacman with other top rank fighters so he can win on both sides of the coin no matter who's victorious between the two fighter. Its not a mystery or surprise that Cotto got his biggest payday "after" he left Top Rank & Bob Arum. Think about that folks, the very first fight after leaving bob arum, cotto makes his biggest payday. So there's no need to talk trash about either fighter whether you're a floyd fan or pac fan. Both deserve credit where credit is due. If you're gonna talk trash about anyone, it should be Bob Arum for how he treats his fighters.

Where did he say that he should have fought a roided up Pac? LOL. All Grustler stated was that he never believed Pac was on PED's and that Floyd should have fought him without extra testing.

I wasn't convinced either when you'd hear Arum, Roach, Ariza and even Manny (who I consider the least of the bull****ters in Team Pacquaio) say they had in interviews, from 2010-2011.

But there came a point where Manny was just blatantly agreeing to testing whenever, no caveats - and even Floyd stopped talking about it.

And once the talk became about splits, then I think we can safely assume that it's not an issue. Floyd would not have made an offer to Manny if OST was still an issue.

I mean, can you imagine the backlash agains Pac if they ever agreed on a split and then he reneged on his talk of drug testing however Floyd wanted? That might even be a more disastrous move than Floyd changing the terms of the split.

Can't argue with you. But quite frankly, it's been over two years that they've been tossing around testing and deciding if they are "ready" to take it. I'm not convinced what they've "agreed to" is what Floyd requested and their favorite response of "testing is not an issue anymore" doesn't give me a warm and fuzzy feeling either. So for two years they shucked and jived and finally they come back to agree on what they refused to agree on earlier for a myriad of lies. Yeah, if I were Floyd I'd tell them to kiss my ass and raise the stakes.

If you have common sense and at least an I.Q. of a 1st grader, even if it's arum saying it.. It makes complete sense. His logic and common sense is spot on.. exactly...if floyd has any doubt about pac agreeing to the test he wouldn't go as far as offering a fixed purse. and if he thinks pac is bluffing he could've easily agreed to 50-50...pac would back out anyway if the testing would be included in the contract. some people are just reaching about not being convinced that pac agreed to it.

even in the second negotiation, i think pac already agreed...otherwise the hbo prez back then would've not tried to broker the negotiation. he knew that testing was the dealbreaker in the first negotiation so it just makes sense that he tried to find out if pac is willing to take the test befor he agreed to mediate.

MP did in fact break records, as in champion in 8 weight classes, which trumps FMJs champion in 5 weight classes. Both MP and FMJ have pulled about the same PPV sales in their last 5 fights. Whether you like or not, MP is the most popular boxer in the world, with multiple endorsements might I add(Nike, Hennessy, Dell, Samsung). MP is a worldwide superstar, so why would he not deserve a 50/50 split? The only record FMJ broke was the PPV record, and you have to give ODLH huge credit on that one.
