im guessing there's a reason for varying limits depending on the organizations
Normally you cannot be over the limit unless you are seriously ill. Standard procedure in testing norms is to set the bar so high that you are either very ill or cheating.

“USADA is an Olympic body and it is not for professional sports,” Arum said. “They’ve got all this crazy paperwork. It’s nonsense. [The National Center for Drug Free Sports] deals with pro athletes in a professional kind of way. They don’t do [blood] tests during the season. They do urine tests. Urine tests will detect everything

I spoke out for betting testing well before Floyd did, because of the likes of Mosley, Toney and RJJ.
          Fuck the crooked ass commission.

And, commission who are willing to hide fighters positive test because they bring in money. Are not credible. Look at Oscar not signing the waiver.

To my knowledge that is the top of the line testing and if it doesn't care to go to that low of ratio then it must be that important. I'd like an explanation as to why USADA/WADA only test to a 6 to 1 ratio but the other testing is more strict.
A lot of people aren't understanding what tests were involved. Peterson would have failed the radioisotope test no matter whether it was performed by USADA, WADA, or VADA.

But USADA and WADA only perform the radioisotope test after a pretest. - when certain testosterone metabolites are found to be in a ratio greater than 6 to 1 or 4 to 1. The radioisotope test requires more specialized equipment to perform, which is why it is not done more often.

It's a classic case of the cheats being ahead of the anti-doping boards. They knew about the metabolite ratio loophole and tailored the steroids to exploit it.

Bottom line is, you would only get a positive result if you've been doping. Hence why Peterson has now admitted to taking testosterone and is instead claiming it's for medical reasons....because he's been busted.

Also..I've no doubt USADA and WADA will now update their screening methods to close this loophole.

They won't. They have the loophole for a reason. But there's more they can do to limit the hole.

                    Don't change your story now.

According to you, Russian and many others, why should he even do anything outside of what the commission requires?

Admit you're wrong and you've been wrong for the last 2 years and maybe we can get somewhere.

you didn't get what they're trying to say. it's the commission's responsibility to conduct testing for all athletes in their respective state. if an athlete wants other form of testing aside from what the commission requires, he should still have to go through and coordinate everything with the commission. if he wants WADA that's fine but it should be the commission who should choose and make an agreement with a WADA accredited agency to conduct a test.

no athlete should assume the responsibility of the commission and no athlete should have a direct contact with any testing agency.
