Just look at floyds last 2 fights, a washed up cotto, and a 24 year old kid in ortiz who he had to sucker punch to win

Pac's last 2 fights, a first ballot HOFer in Marquez and a undefeated #1 ranked 140 pound fighter in the world (who would beat floyd, Cotto and Ortiz easily)
so much wrong with this post i dont know where to start.

majority of these pacman fans dont have a fcuking clue.

Therefore Pac is no1 until Floyd beats Pac to prove its not all talk. Thats the fairest it can be and anything else is showing favouritism and reaching.
rubbish. pacman hasnt done anything of note since beating cotto in 2009. beating a washed up mosley and margarito and then arguably losing to JMM isnt what id call p4p number 1 material.

In 6 years Floyd has fought washed up SSM, bloated JMM, and Cotto coming off a loss Pac and winning less spectacularly than Pac in all fights.

That is what is not p4pno1. Pac has beat 10 opponents and 10 opponents is much better than sitting on the couch when hes not training Floyd mayweather since floyd came back from retirement. Floyd cant be no1 by being a gym rat who trains 24/7 but no fight at the end of the training.

mayweathers win this weekend is better than any win pacman has in the last 3 years. and thats all there is to it. and i didnt say either of them should be number 1.

Yes this is the logic of Pac critics. You so wish it to be true, therefore it is true, without much of an explanation. And if you did try to give an explanation for your findings, it would smack of Floyd fanboy.

Hatton, DLH, SSM, JMM wins for Pac is better than anything FLoyd has ever done, and i wont give an explanation as well. Not to mention the barrera win, and Morales.

It's a ridiculous move because they changed their championship policy to fill more vacancies and then they leave the pound for pound spot vacant

If you want to to really compare notes:

Floyd fought a better version of DLH, and Mosley

Pac fought a better version of Cotto, Hatton, and JMM..

That is if you really want to be fair..

why would you downgrade pacquiao / upgrade mayweather after a fight in which floyd looked vulnerable

i'm no traingle theorist, but it makes even less sense being a common opponent, one that pacquiao dominated and floyd had some troubles with
No if anything, The Ring has given Pacquiao more than his just do. He looked like ass against Marquez and hasn't fought many credible opponents recently until Bradley and they've still kept him there.

If you really want to be fair.....

Floyd fought better versions of Hatton and Oscar.

They fought the same versions of Cotto and Mosley.

Hatton, Oscar, and Mosley were far better fights when Floyd fought them though. Hatton was still a good fight for Pac though no doubt.

Cotto was a good fight for both, but Pac gets more credit because he did it first.

And the fact that JMM arguably just beat Manny at the same weight where Floyd whupped him, that has to be taken into account.
