If you're still calling Canelo a hype train then you're an idiot.

Canelo showed he has improved.

I also believe he should step up the competition to someone like Kirk, Vanes, Lara.

It's obvious 99.9% of fight fans don't understand business, promoting and marketing. Canelo won't be another Juanma or even Vargas, who I believe was thrown to the Lions too soon. There's a reason Mayweather is where he's at, 43-0.

Anyway, Canelo is getting better but still has A LOT to improve. I agree he needs a new trainer. A top quality guy who will take him to the next level!

Since when is Sulaiman Canelo's ****ing promotor/manager?

His statement that Canelo isnt ready for mayweather is valid but that is not his prerogative. Hes supposed to be over seeing the ABC trinket and ensuring that the best of the best is on the list of mandatories rather than openly stating that he is going to keep Mayweather off as the mandatory challenger even though he is clearly the best in the 154 division today. Canelo has a belt and is supposed to defend it against quality opposition. If hes good enough to get the belt, he should be good enough to defend it against someone smaller who just had their 2nd fight at that weight. Dont call someone a champion in one breath and in the second breath say they are not ready to face a smaller opponent who came up to their division because they are too skilled.

Now that is something that Canelo's managers and promoters may rightfully decide but the WBC yahoo is not his manager.

Juanma lost to a guy with 11 losses and Vargas believed all the hype and didn't train right, hung out with the homies.

lol @ Sulaiman, shamelessly talking about Canelo as if he's his manager and promoter, just like he does with Chavez. We know he's the reason these guys are protected from the top contenders at their weights. WBC is an absolute joke, every fight magazine worth it's salt should delist it as a credible sanctioning body, it definately is no longer a major belt.
