I don't expect lots of responses cuz people too busy wipin their tears right now. But why does it always end up like this? When a legend is on the verge of retirin, HE LOSES CONSECUTIVELY.

Also, does this do anything to Hopkins legacy? Will people discredit him the way some discredits Roy Jones?

Hopkins lost two very competitve contraversial decisions at 40 years old.

If that hurts his legacy, what did the losses at the end of this guy's career do to his legacy?

I hope he doesn't fight again. If he loses, people are going to try to tear him down, and belittle his accomplishments. He's a pretty unpopular guy, but at least, right now, he's got a good record to back him up.

No, because unlike Roy, Hopkins didn't end his career after fighting nobodies for several years. It was after Roy lost 3 times in a row that people started looking more critically at his prior victories.

Maybe RJ should fight b-hop again.

I hope this fight doesn't happen. I like Roy, and I don't want to see him lose again. And I wouldn't want to see Hopkins lose again for reasons mentioned above.

If he did fight again, I wonder who he would fight? He doesn't hold the titles anymore. But no, I'd rather not see Hopkins fight again if he's going to fight like he did tonight.
