Bernard "Executioner" Hopkins appreciation thread

I know i won't be able to keep this mature in here (i wish i could), but i want to make this thread in appreciation of one of better middleweights to come along in the sport of boxing.

At almost 41 years of age, he put on an amazing performance tonight and poured his heart out trying to win this fight. I mean, (as much as i still got love for him) look at the Roy Jones fight this year, he didn't fight half the fight Bernard put on tonight (twice this year now).

He will go down in history as still, one of the best to ever lace up gloves and keep a record of consecutive title defenses that will not soon be broken. Whether you love him or you hate him, you have to respect his skills and talent in the ring. Thanks for the years, Bernard. One love.

Yes he did lose and in my eyes, it was obvious.
But for 40 years old he did damned good. I thought he was going to tire out but he seemed to be in better shape this time around. He did very good and I don't know any other 40 year olds that could have done as good as he did.

With all respect to your post, how is Jones Jr supposed to fight when he is brutally KOed in back to back fights? Also, I refuse to respect Hopkins because the man shows absolutely no class.
