winky's not a putz like jermain. yes, jermain beat hopkins twice, but the 1st time he didnt deserve it, the 2nd time he did everything but dominate.

jermain's got a lot of learning to do, he won primarily cuz hes just younger and faster than hop.

What you people dont realise is, Winky is a natural welterweight... he has fought Mosley and Tito, they were also welterweights and light middleweights, he beat them he gets credit for that, but jermain taylor is a natural middleweight, infact he should be fighting at super middleweight accordin to his size, i think taylor is physically stronger and bigger, hopkins made the same mistake, hopkins fought people who were coming to middleweight (dela hoya, tito, allen, ) when taylor has fought natural middleweight like him self and TKO'd them, thats why taylor won both fights, because he had more power, more faster.

Taylor by UD because Winky's chin is too good for a TKO for Taylor, he can take best shots, but since like i said Taylor's power and speed will win the fight for him.

winky has been at JMW for 95% of his career. and when he moved up to face two of the best p4p fighters in mosley and trinidad and he dominated those fights.

mosley might not be a natural middleweight but tito is, he just wasnt in the division long enough to really dominate it. he said he moved up not just for the money, but because making 147 was killing him, so he moved up to 154 and then 160.

i agree that taylor is bigger and could concievably fight at 168, but i stand by my prediciton when i said winky by UD.

I think people are ovarating Wright and are convinced he'll do the same thing to Taylor what he did to Trinidad, WHICH is stoopid to say the least!

Vargas Wright all over Taylor will break him down.

In a way I agree, except Vargas didn't come close to breaking Winky down. That fight coulda gone to Winky.

But anywho...Taylor has the long jab and pole-axing long arm punches that could do some damage to Winky. Certainly Taylor would be able to hit Winky more than Tito did.

I see a clear UD for Taylor who will keep Winky on the end with his superior reach and handspeed.

Also, someone said Winky is a natural welter which is false. Winky weighed in at 168 on fight night vs Tito and that's as big as most of the natural MIDDLEWEIGHTS. Winky definitely belongs at 160 right now.

Admittedly this is a tough fight to call but I do see Taylor winning 8 rounds to 4.

Winky would win this fight and easily because he doesn't box. He stays "clammed up" and jabs here and there. Boring fight but Winky wins this.
