Hopkins - where does he go from here?

First, I'd like to say that Hopkins doesn't belong in the class of Monzon, Hagler, Greb, etc. Anyways what do you guys think is next for a 41 year old Hopkins? Maybe move up to cruiser and fight Jean-Marc Mormeck or possibly even heavy and fight Ruiz or Rahman, that would be decent money to end a great career in an era of crappy middleweights. Even now, he's got no one to fight at middleweight so he finally needs to move up, if he wants to fight again.

that's where he belongs because the man is classless and still after losing two close fights continues to whine. But you can't blame him, the man is an ex-con.

I can't believe people are saying Hopkins would have ate Taylor up in his prime. What was that like 2 years ago? LOL

Hopkins had two primes...physical prime (when he fought RJJ) and his late-career prime (where he fought nobodies). Both times, I see him getting beat by Taylor.

I wouldnt feel too great if I was Taylor. He barely beat a 41 year old man. Say what you will, both fights were close, could have gone either way and neither man looked great in either contest. The second fight, was more boring than the first. No action at all.

I would feel awesome if I had just barely beaten Bernard Hopkins!

Lets put it this way. The new star of the middleweight division is Taylor, the division that Hagler, Hearns, and Leonard fought. This is a shame.

Oh man, you cant even metion Taylors name in the same sentence as Hagler, Hearns, Sugar...that's a spit in the face lolz. BUT as far as Hopkins goes he should either quit or fight Roy Jones. To ring worn guys fighting aint that bad might see a knockout...We're going to see this kinda fight when Vargas-Mosley happens.
