Cruz doesn't go by the nic "El Olimpico" anymore & now goes by the nic of "El Fenomeno"(the Phenomenon) & has won his last 2 fights by KO & one of those KO's was up & coming undefeated prospect Michael Franco(who was the highly regarded favorite in that fight) & was 19-0-12KO's & Cruz KO'd him in the 1st round to the point that Franco fell face first & was out for a good 2 or 3 minutes!!& there was controversy in that bout Cruz lost that against Blida in the Olympics cause Cruz hit Blida with a right hook(he's south paw) on the jaw that made Blida's mouth piece fly out of his mouth, but ironically the judges gave that point to Blida & Cruz ended up loosing by 1 point..
