          Like Andre Ward?

          He doesn't have an exciting style, and he doesn't have a strong national fanbase (like a Filipino or a Mexican)

          He used to be humble, and he had no fans, made less money too.

          Maybe if he was a heavyweight it'd work, but otherwise no he wouldn't

            Humility decreases your marketability in the sport of boxing, especially when you have a style that doesn't appeal to casual fans. Cotto and Pac come across as humble guys but that's not what made them superstars in the sport.
