Those of you who say this was a boring fight are dead wrong

...because this was about as interesting a tactical fight as I've seen in a while. Not every one is going to be a brawl, you know.

I can watch a club night fight for blood and guts. This was two fantastic fighters in a duel. The skill level demonstrated by both men was truly incredible. For Hopkins to have those relfexes and that agility at his age is amazing. And Taylor's talent is world class. If he gets his head on straight he will being to dominate.

Leaning heavily towards Hopkins (just to make sure I wasn't being biased the other way) I had this fight a draw. So I think the decision is good.

Seriously, I have seen a thousand more boring fights this year. This was a close matchup between two elite-level fighters and it didn't disappoint. Those of you who thought it was boring need to go back in time to the Roman days when guys were thrown to the lions, because that's the sort of entertainment you're looking for.

a tactical fight is not one where one fighters holds and the other fighter cheap shots and ducks all day.

I was just frustrated the Taylor kept missing with the one-two over & over & over. After Taylor's jab, B-Hop would ALWAYS duck & Taylor just kept over shooting it! arghhghg I think he needs to work on more variety. I think an uppercut would have done wonders.

Sure, it was a bit of a dirty brawl, but that's what you get in a Hopkins fight. It was more interesting when he mixed that up with some offence, but I'll take this kind of bout at his age.

I'm not saying it's fight of the year or anything. But I feel I got my money's worth easy.

Yeah, Taylor was throwing them way too wild. Hopefully he'll get his head on straight sooner or later because he could do a lot more damage in those situations.
