The former junior lightweight champion of the WBO, Roman 'Rocky' Martinez, could return in July in the United States in a possible title eliminator, according to the boxer himself. Martinez (25-1-1, 16 KO's) lost his crown in September of 2010 against Ricky Burns and his next fight was on October 1, 2011, when he knocked Daniel Attah in six rounds to win the vacant WBO Intercontinental championship at 130 pounds.

He's a very exciting fighter and I hope he gets active. One of the best in his division. He is FAR more dangerous for Broner than Escobedo, the unknown Broner is fighting, and many others. He is tall, comes forward, tries to take your head off, has power, persistance. He just needs to tighten up his defence a little.
