In 09-10 he was passed his peak but still close to prime.

I think after the 16th month lay off, he's clearly not the fighter he was in 2006. It's just obvious.

A fighter who's been a pro for 16 years and heading toward 36 just simply isn't going to be in his prime.
It depends Wladimir is in his prime

Let's put it this way for you guys:

Floyd was not fighting at his best for Cotto. Didn't have to.

Floyd was performing at his C+ Game at best.

Now you put him in with a trash talker looking to knock his head off, then you'll see Floyd in top surgical form leaving no doubt as to who's the king of the ring.

Floyd can turn it on and off at will.

      Remember that.

Its very clear his legs are not as they used to be. And i agree his balance is declining a tad, but its not going to stop him from winning fights.

35 years old. Enough said really. Hand speed is still there though.

His legs are and he showed it, he just doesnt use them as much with his new style.

I did notice his balance isnt the same as it was though, but nothing detrimental

Sure hes not as he was when he was 28.

But it's like he was a 10 back then and now a 9.5 - hate the fact some people are putting him in the same category as mosley...

His legs aren't quite as quick as they used to be, that's about it.

He's still the best and most talented fighter in the sport.
