cotto landed a lot of body punches too...those don't count??...like i said somewhere else, close rounds will always go to the superstar, and as far as that compubox thing,i don't believe in that b/s

I just love how Ronnie and Team Pacquiao downplay Mayweather's performance. I give Cotto respect and credit for making it a good fight. But that night in Vegas wasn't "his". Mayweather controlled the majority of the fight and let Cotto in in some rounds - most notably the 8th, which was a mistake. A mistake he later rectified. He adjusted 2-3 times during the fight and whooped Cotto's ass and could've knocked him out in the 12th.

I hope he continues to push himself. Floyd wins 8 rounds and some say he lost. ???? He had Cotto hanging on him in the 12th after rocking him with an uppercut and they say Floyd was the one who got beat up ????? just because he didnt win every round doeasnt mean he lost. but i understand this is Floyd. if he loses more than 2 rounds he lost. LOL HAHAHAHAHAHAH!!!!
True, True..... Cotto beats Canelo and a bunch of other guys at 154 other than Sergio if he came there. Lara is iffy for me because Lara has some skill but Cotto is tough. That would be a good fight Lara/Cotto.

Martinez would be too much for Floyd. too strong. the jab would open Floyd up, but then again Martinez does not fight guys on the inside as much so it could give Floyd a chance to counter all night. It would be more of a challenge for Floyd than it would be for Sergio. I agree that Floyd is not a 154 lb fighter. I like him better 147 with 8oz gloves. He has more pop. If he continues to fight @ light middle then we'd see more close fights in which he would proabably edge out a decision. Martinez is the only one who has the obvious skillset to beat Floyd convincingly.

If Martinez ever fights and beats Mayweather it isn't because of his skills - it's because of his size. Floyd is not ******. He's not going to fight Martinez at 154 because he knows Martinez will rehydrate 15-16lbs like he always does.

Martinez gets tagged way to often by easy shots and he fights with his hands down all the time. When he meets a fighter just as fast as him, or even faster, he'll be in trouble.

I like Martinez but he needs to fight Lara, Chavez, Lee, Pirog before calling out Floyd and Pacquiao.

Ariza is one of the biggest tools in boxing. In his mind, all of Manny's sub-par performances are because Manny didn't follow his training regime.

                    I mean, this is absurd.

Manny is a veteran who keeps his weight down and stable all year round. This isn't Rid**** Bowe we are talking about.

If Pac's winning fights because of superior conditioning, then we've got a problem, because ATGs aren't made by flashy, hi-tech training regimes.

Ariza needs to get a grip. He's a ****ing conditioning coach. Roach should have stepped in a long time ago, because now we've got Ariza leaving camps, bad mouthing family members (remember his insults at Khan's father?), threatening to bring down the biggest promotional company in boxing, treating Manny's cuts in between rounds during a fight (!).

                    It's ridiculous.

Fam, Mayweather was fighting with his hands down with Cotto. I am a fan of Floyd as a boxer but Martinez is the only fighter I've seen in the sport in around his weight class that can possible beat him. Sergio is durable, fast can adjust and has KD/KO power. He figures out a way to win as Floyd does. Fight would not be easy for Floyd. Martinez is on my top favorite/best fighters list. I believe he would have laid Cotto out if they fought at 154.
