Well, please consider the context. Team Cotto are the ones that are making a big deal by acting classless.

This would be like Floyd boycotting the post-Oscar presser because one of the judges scored it for Delahoya.

Everyone would be calling Floyd a bytch for that.

    ...and you know it.

So you could Argue Shane was also "drained" and maybe his power wasnt what it was so if they fought at 150 like pac and margarito did, maybe he would of knocked him out cold?

I'm sorry, 3lbs isn't going to effect your chin at all.

Mosley clearly hits harder than Pacquiao
I'm saying that Margarito has more punch resistance at the higher weight.

My personal feeling is that fighters have more punch resistance (in general, broadly) when they move up in weight.

An extra 3 lbs is alot when you are cutting from 160+.

We will agree to respectfully disagree on this point.

Bradley won't have this type of advantage that you suggest.
very true, but even at 147 Bradley will still be PHYSICALLY STRONGER THEN MAYWEATHER, that dude is built like a Minny Marvin Hagler lol

but yeah no question Cotto had the Weight Advantage and Strength Advantage, he been fight at 154 comfortably for his last 3-4 fights

Not saying Bradley WOULD BEAT MAYWEATHER...but in boxing today with everybody else hyping up Pacquiao, Martinez, Khan and Canelo as guys to beat Mayweather...neither has that style to beat him, I feel Bradley would do better against Mayweather then all of those fighters as would Andre Ward if he was a smaller guy!

For Floyd to go to Miguel's weight class and to beat Miguel at Miguel's game says a lot.

...and May never "ran". He ****** with MC, wrestled with MC, and fought him inside.

It is clear that Floyd could have "Baldomir'd " this fight.
          clear to whom?

The rounds YOU thought were close you instantly give to Cotto because you're biased. The rounds you felt were close weren't in the least close to me at all. Just because Cotto was THROWING at Mayweather on the ropes doesn't mean he landed.

I get the feeling all these people who had this fight close or had Cotto winning gave credit for scored blows EVERY TIME Cotto threw a punch, which clearly wasn't the reality of the situation. While Cotto was competitive AT TIMES, he was outworked, outscored, and overall he was outclassed in a valiant EFFORT. Newsflash guys, effort, grit and heart doesn't equate to a win. Moral win? Of course. Did he win the fight? Of course not.

There's NO WAY you can have Cotto winning more than 4 rounds and that's being generous. That's NOT my opinion, it's FACT if you score a match according to professional scoring criteria, period. And, to the people who said "Mayweather didn't take the title from the champion" For one, that's not part of scoring criteria, for two, I call outboxing and outhustling the champion in 9-10 of 12 rounds TAKING the title from the champiuon and winning the fight. Case closed, there is NO argument here. Period. I'm astounded by that there is even a debate on who won this fight, I mean really Boxingscene? Really?!
That was me, and i have an 8-4 scorecard. I am biased to cotto to an extent...and admit that. Fact is tho, it isnt unreasonable to have given cotto certain rounds. They were very close hard fought rounds by both fighters, that could have gone either way. I gave some of them to cotto, and some of them to mayweather. Thats just how i saw it. Unreasonable to me is suggesting cotto couldnt have won any of those rounds (jugding by your response, this doesnt apply to you.)

It was a great fight, one in which mayweather clearly won. He showed his greatness by rising above a tough challenge, and a great fighter in miguel cotto, to me atleast. But imo, 118-110 is taking a ***** over miguel cotto's performance, seeing the fight through mayweather lense's and giving anything and everything to mayweather. It was more give and take than that.

Timothy Bradley won't be physically stronger than Mayweather at 147. No way, no way at all.

I agree with them with the judging because Cotto did win 4 rounds max to me instead of 2. But its not as close as they think it is.

9-3 is not a bad score. Miguel did well, but because he dominated rd 6, he doesn't get an extra point in another round. ANd he didn't get10-8 in any round he won. So if you don't give Miguel rd 7, is it that bad?

Again, no matter what you are cutting from, It's not going to make your punch resistance any worst 3lbs on fight night, and you know it.

                      Here's the problem:

Bradley is built and physicall strong. But does he REALLY know how to fight inside? To me, Tim does "a Hatton". He puts his head on your chest and throws a lot of punches to your body and head and he uses his head *******ly.

That works against guys like Junior Witter and Devon Alexander who are not rugged, and who don't know how to fight inside.

That isht would not work against a Mayweather or Hopkins (for example). those are old-school guys who know how to use leverage, elbows, body position, etc.

Look at Floyd inside. He pushes you aside slightly. Locks up your arm. Digs a couple of body shots. Hugs you. Lets you go. Hits you with an upper cut. Then gives you an elbow in the neck for good measure.

Bradley is not a technical inside fighter, He is an energy inside fighter.
