Super middleweight contender Anthony Dirrell (24-0, 21KOs) would love to secure a fight with Carl "The Cobra" Froch (28-2, 20KOs). In 2009, Froch won a controversial twelve round split decision over Anthony's older brother, Andre Dirrell. Froch faces IBF champion Lucian Bute on May 26 at the Nottingham Arena in Nottingham. Dirrell is waiting for a date to face Nikola Sjekloca. The WBC recently ordered the two fighters to meet each other for the vacant WBC title.

I'm really excited for this fight. It's a great matchup. Bute will have to work hard to get the win. However Froch looked lost in his last fight. I hope he works more and gets a win against Bute. Would love to see a KO victory by either guy!

There is zero boxing interest in America in either Dirrell. Can't these talentless bums just go away. No one wants to see a Dirrell any where in a ring. There are no ticket sales or fans wanting a Dirrell bout. forget about these losers.

Just like Syllikah (who everyone was raving about) before he's had a decent test - Bute is hugely overrated.

Yes, he's World Champ, but he's done nothing at World level accept beat an ancient Glen Johnson who was never that good. He should have a loss to Andrade on his record.

Froch'll beat him and most definitely, at home, should be the strong favourite.

I don't rate Bute and soon we'll see why.

I think the people underrate Bute, i'm sure when you will see him the people will change her mind about him. He's fast and he hit very hard, ask Miranda :-). Bute will have more fan's after he's fight, you will see

Froch got the stronger resume. He fought better people obviously, but Bute is fresher and more talented.

Bute could very well beat Froch, but Bute is still a wild card. I personally will love for Bute to KO Froch so this forces Ward to fight Bute.

Bute got this. Froch looked lost at times against Ward. It just seemed like Ward was coasting and he still won handily.

I'd like to see Andre Dirrell fight someone like Bika, Oosthuizen, or Rodriguez.
