A few pictures from my trip to the fight

I love live fights too. Loads atmospehre, quite a few clueless ****s chatting, and the real time speed is amazing. I seen Khan live and his speed in real life is amazing.
In the UK a lot of crowds are split by 50 to 100 town/city types that get behind their man which creates a good atmosphere.Comment

I heard Fat Joe was at LAX but I was done with big crowds after the fight. I bounced out of the MGM rather early. Leaving that place was such a cluster *** and quite a few people were getting really pissed and ready to throw down. I wanted no part of that.I met him and Diaz. There both bad ass dudes. Did you run into Rodger? He looked hammered. I ran into Ward, Hop, Hoya, Bradley, Alexander, Bronner, Mallinaggi, and I also ran into Holyfield at a Burger joint right before the weigh in. All good peeps outside of BHop he didn't stop to talk to anyone. He looked pissed about something.
Fight was packed. It was a great time. Even seen some dudes get the **** beat out of them for telling "robbery" over and over... I couldn't believe how many ******ed people at the fight thought Cotto won let alone won more than 3 to 4 rounds. Re-watched it today and could only give Cotto 2. 3 if I was wanted to be really generous due to the pressure Cotto was putting on Floyd. However in no way was the fight robbery.
btw, I hit up the LAX and watched FAT JOE. Got hooked up with VIP table. Drank free all night. Doing it again at the MIX bar in the Mandalay Bay. My liver is going to be shot after spending a week out here!
I didn't get to meet even half the people you met. I got to the MGM kind of late but I was still there around 5 and I walked around but seen no one. Usually, you can find guys chilling outside the seating area but I seen no one. I met Naz on the way to the weigh in actually. He was moving quickly but I notice the hat, no one else seemed to though so I actually got to walk with him for a few minutes and ask him some questions. I did meet Paulie though on my way to the fight. He was with a fine ass woman.:boobies: In fact, there was a rather crazy amount of fine ass women at the fight. It was a lot of fun.
As for the fight, I can't really say what I feel because it is so hard to judge a fight from the stands. There was quite a few people that felt Cotto won, I didn't think he won but I thought it was a good, close fight. I was going nuts though when I realize Floyd had a busted nose though.
BTW, how did you meet all them? Was it after the weigh in? I remember them all coming on stage.Last edited by Check; 05-06-2012, 08:05 PM.Comment

A lot of ******s have strong hand shakes. Naz a cool guy?Comment

I thought he was cool, understanding the circumstances. He had to move quick because the weigh in was less than an hour away but still allowed me to walk with him and talk. It's a good thing he moved fast too because my bud told me Naz found some funny things with Alvarezs and Floyds gloves.Comment

It was a great time. I had a blast. Yeah if you where done with big crowds LAX was not the place to be. However if I had known you are talked to before hand I could have got you hooked up and wouldn't have had to be around a lot of people, rather a bunch of hot chicks and over all chilled people with room to breath.I heard Fat Joe was at LAX but I was done with big crowds after the fight. I bounced out of the MGM rather early. Leaving that place was such a cluster *** and quite a few people were getting really pissed and ready to throw down. I wanted no part of that.

Anyway I waited around after the weigh in and found myself in the wrong place at the right time. It was awesome! Out of all of them, Diaz looked focused and was ready for war and they brought it just not enough to win. Ironically Rodger just looked wasted and looked as if he was stumbling all over.
I enjoyed the blood from Floyd's nose. I've been waiting to see him get into trouble or have a difficult time. Anyway i'm out. Heading up to the MIX bar. Got a few more nights out here.Comment

did you hear the boos when cards for Pacquaio vs Marquez III announced.....Manny for sure looked like a beaten man, praying for a win or at least a draw
if you thought Cotto won, you a straight up troll dude find another sport to watch...its one thing to think a fighter wins or won, but hoping a fighter loses a fight they clearly won is sad on your part....you arent a true boxing fan if you wanna see a fighter get robbedComment
