Definitely. He looked a lot smaller as well... even when he was blocking Cotto's shots, his arms would still flail or his whole body would shift causing him to have to reset and get his balance... which has rarely happened.

When he went back to boxing in the championship rounds, he looked outstanding, so he's speaking the truth when he says he could have easily outpointed Cotto by boxing him. Mayweather made it a tougher fight than it really had to be and Cotto really trained well because he still looked pretty fresh at the final bell.

I agree, if he would have kept it in the middle of the ring, he probably would have got the stoppage. Going to the ropes, where cotto is known to be deadly, is a bad move for anyone.

Mayweather still looked the same as the Mosley/Ortiz fights. He uses his legs as much as he has too. Cotto pressured him effectively and Mayweather planned throughout his camp to fight off the ropes, he fights well off the ropes.

Floyd looked sharp, especially when he threw combinations.

One thing is for sure, vintage floyd fought off the ropes better than last night. Cotto got in way too close and did too much work on the inside. Maybe it is the weigh and cotto's size.

One thing that is true, when he mixed his punches up, he did major damage.

Mayweather said he could've easily outpointed him at the post-fight press conference. Anyone thinking Cotto won is delusional.
