USA Today and The LA Times had Cotto winning 115-113. It was a close fight.

After reading a lot of stuff online, I got the impression that this was a competitive fight, but I just got done watching it and it was completely one sided. I honestly don't see how anyone can give Cotto more than three rounds (and I think that would be being generous). I think the only people who are saying that it was close are the Floyd Mayweather haters who will say or type anything in a desperate attempt to bring him down to their favorite fighter's levels, and people who simply don't know much/anything about the sport of boxing. I personally had it 119-109 for Mayweather. The only rounds that were truly close were 6 and 8. You could give Cotto round 12 if you wanted to be super generous, but to claim that he won any more rounds than that is simply delusional fantasy and out of touch with reality. Whether you like him or not, Mayweather dominated the fight and a couple of the rounds were so one sided that they could easily have been scored 10-8 in his favour. It wasn't close.

Floyd took him to school and landed 90% of the clean shots in the fight, which is why Miguel's face looked like it had been hit by a truck while Money May hardly had a scratch on him. Yes Cotto threw a lot of punches but he missed with nearly all of them. Mayweather probably would have beaten him even worse if he had stayed on his toes and boxed the whole time, but he played Cotto at his own game and still completely dominated him. It was a tremendous performance and Floyd is not getting the credit that he deserves for this victory. He beat a much better version of Miguel Cotto than Manny "I let other people make my decisions for me" Pacquiao did, yet he's not getting half the credit. You jealous and hate-filled people need to start appreciating him more while he's still around because i'm more than sure that you will sorely miss him once he's gone.

The rounds that Cotto won were because Mayweather let him. Possibly the only round that Cotto potentially won was when he turned Mayweather and hit him with a left hook that caused his nose to bleed. You can win rounds with 'effective aggressiveness' like Hatton managed to do with his jab and keeping Mayweather back but thats just one aspect of scoring. I AM PRETTY SURE that you have to hit a target to win points and Cotto didnt do much hitting. Throwing YES hitting NO.

I gave him 4 rounds though anything from 2-5 is understandable.

this. Floyd stopped boxing and chose to dog fight for the fans enjoyment. and ofcoure Floyd isnt going to get credit b.c some people want to say Floyd is on the slide instead.

I gave cotto 7. The final score was way off. Mayweathers bring way too much money into vegas and everyone wants Pac vs May In Vegas. NO way the let someone take the shine out of that.

                      Good fight overall.
what fight did you watch again? 7? bwahaha
