if that fight would have went another few rounds, i think cotto would have been in some trouble. im not one of those fools who thought cotto was gonna be beat to a pulp or anything but cotto had him hurt bad in the 12th.

3 rounds, you have to be very generous to Cotto and give him the benefit of every doubt, to give him 4 IMO. I just can't see how he got 5, I disagree with Cliff Rold with that one all day.

It was every similar to Floyd-Oscar. Just this was more entertaining. But, it was that decisive of a victory.

Strangely, everything going into the fight to how competitive it was/wasn't and I think people belief of what both Oscar and Cotto have left post fight is eerie similar.

I still think Cotto can beat Top SWW's, aside from Erislandy Lara, that'd be a nightmare for him. I think he has more left than Oscar did.

Disagree completely. Cotto was done. Floyd could of easily finished him, but he chose not too.

I gave Cotto 5 rounds and almost every round was close. Will watch it again and score again but Cotto was competitive in every round and his stock rises up after this.

He had Cotto hurt bad in the 12th, more than you give him credit for. If you rewatch the last round, Cotto held on and stopped punching because of the uppercut he was hit with.

I think if it goes another round Floyd could have stopped him. I'm not taking anything away from Cotto and was rooting for him to win and was impressed in the performance he gave but I saw a different Floyd tonight. He looked a bit slower and I think the decline is officially on, he is 35 after all.

I think Kirkland would be a nightmare for Cotto.

I think anyone that could bring him legit pressure and just be on him and have volume punching could beat him. I'm not even sure if he can beat Canelo now. And, I still think Canelo is whack.

I'm not sure if he has more than what Oscar had. Both of them had mirages going into the Floyd fight that people thought they had something left. And, the way it played out it kind of confirmed it. Now we just gotta see post it if the similarities continue or if you're right and Cotto has something left.

It's was a lot of similarities just that this fight was more entertaining. But, I'm proud of how Cotto fought. Good for him, I'm happy for him. He didn't get embarrassed. And, he didn't prove that he isn't a joke like a certain tree out there.
