Junior welterweight titlist Cotto, who could face Castillo later in 2006 if he beats Corrales again, will defend his belt against an opponent to be named March 11 or 18, probably on pay-per-view from Puerto Rico.
Arum said he was having a hard time getting a commitment from HBO for a date for Cotto, forcing him to plan a pay-per-view to keep Cotto active.
"I'm not going to wait my whole life for HBO to make up its mind about Cotto," Arum said. "They can't make a decision, can't make a move? Fine. I'll do my own show."
