You say FLOYD followers dont know boxing or Cotto's history it seems you dont want to accept history and HISTORY is FLOYD beat Castillo twice and he beat De La Hoya I dont care what anybody thinks the fact is he won, thats history. I've been hollering that round since the beginning. Cotto's has indeed earned my respect but Cotto is going to break down mentally in the ring against Floyd. He won't be able to adjust on the fly like Floyd. This fight will depend on who is more mentally prepared and that's why Diaz tried to get Cotto to get inside of Mayweather's head with the stare down but the thing is that, Cotto has to have that instinct already. And Cotto didnt KO every common opponent he beat SHANE by one round the same person FLOYD shutout. Cotto also went twelve rounds with Malignaggi and one a close decision, he also got rocked by Corley, rocked by Torres, and beat up a bunch of smaller guys when he fought at 140 but walked around at 180. He hasnt KO'd a quality fighter in a long time, unless you count Yuri Foreman or Michael Jennings as quality fighters. He still got hit a lot in the last Margarito fight and his faced showed after the fight of course it wasnt as bad as the first but still in all he got hit by slow unskilled fighter in Margarito. In order for Cotto to win a decision he has to knockdown May early. Other than that, he has to go for the KO.


No way he gets a decision (for the same reason JMM could not get the decision against Pacquiao, it's not in the best interest of the industry). A Cotto victory screws up May, Arum, Pac, Vegas, etc.

I keep hearing FLOYD hasnt fought anyone like Cotto well can somebody please tell me who Cotto fought thats anywhere close to FLOYD that he beat. Cotto got his reputation doing what people knock FLOYD for doing in one fight and thats fighting smaller guys.Truth be told he fought Marquez for a 147 title but people knock him cus he didnt come in at 144 but he stil was under the 147 limit. Cotto bulit his rep at 140 but he walked aroundat 180. Everybody knows Judah shouldn't have been at 147 and that was Cotto's best performance in my opinion. Cotto has had competitives with the same fighters PAC and FLOYD shutout point blank Cotto is an good fighter but will never beat a GREAT fighter.
