    7:

I'm losing interest in this fight. Quite uneventful. Stieglitz lacks explosiveness so it's a pedestrian affair.

Most of his loses were close in hometowns and you do know he fought McClosky right

McCloskey had very poor defense tonight, definitely feel he was overlooking Corley (who yes is shot but is a former world champion and has been in with some of the best, despite losing for the most part) kept getting hit flush and the british commentary were trying there best to score the fight in Paul's favour, but it was clear he was taking much more punishment than Corley, with regard to the stoppage, I think it was reasonable but really the ref has to be firm, fast and decisive he was mincing around unsure what to do, they said Corley bet on himself like a boss.
Pleased Corley didn't let it go to the scorecards because he might of gotten robbed.

I can remember Huck wildly throwing and missing on quite a good few occasions.
Wanted to only land power punches, yes that's Huck but this is boxing.
Huck missed a lot. "That's Huck." But he also landed the bigger and more effective punches. Ola was more about volume, and he certainly landed good shots. He also threw a lot of punches into the guard and arms of Huck. I don't score that very much. It's just my opinion. Please respect it. It was a good and even fight. The decision is fair.

A case can be made for Hamdan winning round 9.

You'd expect McCloskey to beat a shot 37 year old who lost his strap over 8 years ago but I'm happy for him.

McCloskey should have lost against Prescott too so he had it coming good job it was a stoppage otherwise he would have got another hometown decision.

I know we love to bash the Boxnation commentary, but I did enjoy the conversation there where he's asking the other commentator how he feels Abraham/Groves/Degale would fair against Stieglitz... nice to hear opinions especially when the fight is a snoozefest.
