Curious, do you think Mayweather is unbeatable? Has there been no one in history in any weight class Mayweather has campaigned in that could defeat him? Acting like this guy is flawless and invincible just makes you sound like a fanboy.
I have over 45,000 posts on this site a little research goes a long way.

And just because I think he would dismantle Martinez and Pac means hes unbeatable? No it just means that I dont overrate Pac and Martinez like most of this site. They are 2 of the best fighters today still doesnt mean Floyd cant beat them.

Obviously he can be beaten. He would not have been an easy fight for ANY fighter. I stand by that.

Hearns, Gavilan, SRR, SRL could beat him.

    Pac and Martinez....NO.

agreed Martinez is one of the most overrated fighters in the last few years without a doubt Floyd picks him apart one sidedly

also like I said if Martinez is truly a p4p fighter go up to 168

As I said before, I don't think Pacquiao would beat Mayweather. I also don't really have any faith in Martinez beating Mayweather, especially if he's running around with his hands down like an idiot.

Still, he should fight Martinez rather than Canelo. He should fight Pacquiao over Khan. I don't care if he's not going to get beaten by these guys, but he's not even risking his '0' in the slightest which is what shouldn't be defended.

Thats not really a fair assessment though.

He has been trying to fight Pac the last 3 years and thats all I'll say about it because the debate over testing, the split, etc is getting stale.

JMM: P4P Nummber 2...tune up fight.

            Mosley: P4P Number 3, Number 1 WW.

            Ortiz: Number 2 WW.

Cotto: Number 1 JMW and champion.

So just because hes beating these dudes easy doesnt mean they werent highly ranked opponents. Even if this dude beat Pac theyd say Pac was past prime and if he fights Martinez, Sergio was 38, past it and drained.

            Cant please everybody.

Nah, in my view both camps are trying to avoid one another - at least now. I think in the beginning Mayweather definitely was ducking Pacquiao, and Manny's camp might have actually thought he could run through Floyd because of how he had gone through other guys.

Still, now I think it's totally probable that Pacquiao's camp wants to avoid the Mayweather fight. They know Manny has limitations that would probably come into play with a boxer like that. But at the same time, I still think Mayweather isn't entirely comfortable getting into the ring with him. He probably still worries he has a "puncher's chance".

I think this is the most reasonable position to take. Both sides have come up with excuses and unreasonable demands, and both sides probably see it as a tremendously high-risk fight for the both of them. Although the counter-argument of course is that it'd be a huge money maker, and there would be a definite rematch which would make even more money. I still think it's almost certainly not going to happen though.

Yeah the only way this fight happens is if Manny leaves Arum. Its amazing and very telling how fast the Cotto fight got done without Arum.

He is 37 years old and has NOT weighed 154 pounds since 2009.

                  Period.

And why even worry about Canelo? Is Floyd not fighting he Number 1 JMW with no catch weight tonight?

"The legacy fight"? lol. Thats Pac not a 37 year old 160 pounder bro.

Floyd hasnt even laid a glove on Cotto yet and now people are saying hes ducking Sergio. Un ****ing real. Its been that way on this site since 05.
So because he's 37 & hasn't been 6lb's lower in a couple years Canelo is a better, more dangerous fight?? The fact you posted is worthless & quite frankly you should listen to yourself for a minute.

Floyd-Canelo is not a better fight than Floyd-Martinez. No matter how you try to defend Floyd-Canelo.

                    For ****s sake....

When did I EVER say Canelo was better than Martinez? When did I say Ccanelo-Floyd was a better fight?

The ponit I was making that you missed is that Martinez aint weighed 154 since 09. Hes also 37 years old.

Hint: His old ass aint cutting to 154 Pounds.

If he can make 154 then fine but I doubt it.

Hence the reason I said what I said.
