C'mon man. You know Mijares is a crappy crappy fight. He hasn't done anything since 2008, and that was at Super Flyweight. I wouldn't expect you to defend Donaire fighting him.

Alot of fighters were considered shot before they moved up in weight and realized they should have never drained themselves to make weight, examples Cotto 140 to 147, Ortiz 140 to 147, Marquez 126 to 135 so on and so on. Mijares is a better fighter above 118, Donaire is not.

Who considered Cotto shot or ruined going from 140 to 147? Same thing for JMM no one really...

Same thing goes for Ortiz, people considered him mentally weak and not being tough having heart to be in a fire fight.

But, neither of those examples did people consider them shot or ruined.
