Overlooking an ATG in Suger Shane is not the right mentality from Canelo. It may bite him in the ass....

Lol, Thats because Floyd and Cotto were fighting at lightweight for the majority of their 20's. Alvarez is and has always been a big boy, walking around at about 165 pounds on the regular. I don't think it means much now a days though especially in Floyd's case because he spars with guys that are 170 pounds in camp and just beat Ortiz handily, and he's bigger an probably just as strong as both Canelo and Cotto ...Comment

this punk is already overlooking a vet like shane. dude struggled with gomez and nearly put on his ass by jose cotto. i seriously hope shane destroys this fool margarito style.Comment

lol you 2 didn't get it...what i was trying to say is if canelo has to have a small chance against floyd, the fight should happen when floyd is not 100% ready and that is when he's fresh out of jail. when floyd is at his usual fighting condition, that fight is mismatch.Comment

Doubt very seriously Mayweather will be fighting in September. November is a lot more likely, and hopefully that will be Martinez. Unless of course the middleweight champ is tied up with Chavez Jr. In that case, Canelo is probably gonna be the best available, makeable option. Unless of course Braldey beats Pac, tells Arum to go suck a fat one, and wants to test his luck against the real P4P King.Comment

Alvarez should only be concerned with being ready for Mosley at this time. Otherwise he is looking past Mosley, not something he should be doing. Anything can happen, even a huge cut. If and when he beats Mosley he can think about Mayweather or another fighter.Comment

WBC junior middleweight champion Saul "Canelo" Alvarez (39-0-1, 29KOs) is planning to achieve two dreams in 2012. The first is to defeat former three division world champion "Sugar" Shane Mosley on Saturday night at the MGM Grand in Las Vegas. The second goal is to face Floyd Mayweather Jr. (42-0, 26KOs) in September.
