I'd bet money he wasn't being sarcastic. Bayless knows next to NOTHING about boxing. I've told this before, but in late 2000/2001, before a Tyson fight, he wrote a nasty op-ed with slams on the sport. I wrote him an e-mail at the San Jose Merc and asked why he doesn't shed some positive light on guys like Mosley and Barrera.

His answer was that they sounded like good up and comers and he'd keep an eye out.

    In 2001.

    After Mosley-De la Hoya I.

Bayless sucks on boxing. He's a 100% windbag.

Boxing is a SPORT and boxers are athletes.

IF YOU WANT TO HAVE THAT MANTLE OF GREATNESS AT LEAST YOU HAVE TO ACT LIKE IT. WALK THE WALK, NOT ALL BARK AND NO BITE. THAT IS THE OTHER BIG DIFFERENCE BETWEEN ALI AND FLOYD. ALI PUT HIS LIFE ON THE LINE AND PROVES HE FIGHTS THE BEST OUT THERE.

BOXING IS A DEADLY IF YOU DON'T WANT TO GET HURT GET OUT OF THE KITCHEN. simple really.

Every time a fighter steps in the ring he always take the risk of being damaged. It's a deadly sport. If you can't take the heat get out.. It's that simple..

The thing is if a fighter harps about his health all the time it means he shouldn't be fighting anymore..

If the fighter harps only when a certain fighter gives him the chills, then he should just duck his way out by retiring.. Coz you can smell fear a mile away...

        Floyd only fights winnable fights..

I would rather listen to Steve Kim talk about boxing for hours than listen to Skip Bayless try and pretend he knows anything about the sport for 5 minutes. He's a tool, probably the biggest one in all sports media IMO. His entire act is being the controversial guy with outrageous and illogical opinions.

I love it when actual experts like Eric Mangini go on that show and school him and the other hosts. They really don't know much more than big sports fans.

Just remember he had Pacquiao beating Marquez last year by 5 rounds, 5 ROUNDS! That's all you need to know about Skip and boxing.

Feck ESPN "analysts". Especially boxing. ESPN knows **** about boxing.
And I don't even consider myself an expert on this.

You don't need anyone sports analyst to tell you that Floyd is scared..

Red blood cell PEDs are called EPO. Steroids are for bulking and they are bulky muscles, Pacquiao's muscles are stringy. Steroids are also used for cattle and poultry to bulk them up for more meat.

He didn't say he thinks he does, and has in the past has said that he doesn't think so. It doesn't matter, he's still saying the same thing.

Do you think fighter A should be expected to fighter B if fighter A thinks fighter B is cheating? Nevermind whether he is or not, do you think he should have to fight him?
But Steven A Smith blatantly implied that he thinks Pacquiao is a juicer, when he made his statement of "no comment, I don't have the money to get sued that Mayweather does". That implies his belief of Pacquiao juicing, as Pacquiao is suing Floyd Mayweather for making those public accusations of him, in turn Steven A Smith is sarcastic saying he won't comment as though Pacquiao would sue him too if he answered the question posed by Skip Bayless, and said that he too thought Pacquiao was on PED's.

He says that Mayweather is doing the right thing if he is avoiding the fight because he thinks Pacquiao is cheating. That's all he's saying. All he ever says on the matter
Bull****! I explained above how he made it very clear that he DOES believe Pacquiao is a juicer. He was asked directly "Do you think Pacquiao has used or is using Steroids or other performance enhancing drugs?" and you saw what he said.

Marquez is no measuring stick as Pacquiao had trouble with him in all their previous fights as well. Just because Floyd was able to beat Marquez in his first fight above 135, and push him around being the much bigger man doesn't mean ****. Marquez was still effective in many spots, he just didn't have the power to hurt Mayweather after first moving up, nor was he quick enough. Marquez and Pacquiao's styles clash just perfectly to challenge both fighters. History shows that if Floyd thought he could beat Pacquiao he would have already tried to fight him, Floyd doesn't face anyone he doesn't think he can beat with little to no risk, and that's what this is all about. He's not willing to risk having to fight hard, getting hurt by someone who has the power to hurt him, or that fragile little record of his.

Someone else posted a picture that told the story perfectly. Against Cotto he's been quoted as recently as within the last few days saying "he's willing to die out there to win" against Cotto, and he' said that about other opponents. But, when it comes to Pacquiao, suddenly his health too big of a concern, Pacquiao is a juicer, he wants to dictate the drug testing, he wants to decide the split and makes an unreasonable offer, he plays the blame game, and buys himself more time avoiding Pacquiao and ultimately signing the deal. Bob Arum has had his hand in ****ing up this whole deal as well, and this year he ha possibly been the most instrumental in stopping the fight from happening after getting scared by the Marquez close decision. Now Arum is on the defense trying to protect the golden goose, so he too is throwing up excuses.
