Besides that Maidana clearly lost his spark after the Kahn fight IMO, so the alexander fight comparison is not valid.

Enyway to beat mayweather you need to have that terminator killer instinct that makes you go through his counters and inflict serious damaged over and over again, and never give up no matter what.

You cant out punch floyd or outbox him really, he is too skilled and too fast, only few in history can match him in that department.
Floyd himself said that his fight with Emanuel Augustus was his hardest fight, and we all know about the castillo fights, what two have in common is that the dont mind the grind the had to endure in there efforts in shutting floyd down.
And thats the Key , to shut him down and land hard punches through out the fight, if you cant do that he will outbox you and shut you down as he has done over and over with fighters that relay on there skill and not there hart.

Maidana 2 years ago likes the grind and has the killer instinct and thats why the fight would be interesting.
If I was your father I would put your across my knee for those comparisons. Having a tenacious nature is not enough to beat Floyd, yes Augustus and Castillo were tenacious in nature but unlikely Maidana they had something else to bring to the table, Castillo could cut off the ring and apply effective pressure along with being able to mix up well on inside, Augustus was unorthodox.

When fighters only bring tenacity to the table, well we saw what happened then with Gatti.

I suppose for the majority it would be entertaining as people aren't concerned with competitive fights, they are concerned with seeing one fighter ruthlessly beaten down which is what would happen to Maidana. He would get chopped and fried.

What's funny is yall think Bradley will really get a fight with Mayweather. He just signed a contract with Top Rank. In other words, on to the next one.

Great analysis timmy but if you remember well there was a fighter from manchester who tried that same thing worked for a couple rounds and then floyd knocked him out best to try and get passed manny first without them damn headbutts.

That's about what Manny took in his fight with Barrera. Things change when you work hard.

Hatton is the first fighter that comes to mind when I think about Bradley. However, I consider Bradley a better version of Hatton. I think Bradley's gonna beat Pac, so a Mayweather fight would be a natural afterwards. And although Hatton practically lost every round, he did make Mayweather work every round and brought out the best in Money. Bradley would bring that same mauling, pitbull type of attack. He would bring it with more skill, athleticism, and stamina. And he would also be bringing it to a Mayweather at least five years older than the version Hatton fought. I honestly think Bradley is a much tougher fight for Mayweather than Pac or anyone outside of Martinez south of the super middleweight division. And I'd be very tempted to pick Storm to beat Money.
