Floyd does not deserve to take the share of the money he wants, which is around 70-30 by my calculations. 50-50 was never a problem, now Pac outsells him last year, the second time in 3 years going head to head he outsold him, and agrees to the test and it is suddenly what is holding up the fight? F'n disgraces Mayweather and his fans are, for pushing this facade

Why does it matter when the fights happen? As much as I stay out of the PPV debates, what way did he "spin it"?

i hope he actually invests his money somewhere, otherwise he's going to end up broke with that lifestyle.

      regardless, good article.

There is no way that Floyd doesn't end up broke.

Think about what he spends...how much he spends. Other guys have made that type of money before. Floyd isn't the first one.

Oscar made that type of money, but never SPENT that type of money. What do you suppose that Floyd spends on security a year? A million to a million and a half by my calculation? Now, think back. How many times did you see Oscar with a phalanx of beefy security guys?

Floyd has 24 high-end luxury cars. Ummm, WHY?!

Floyd and Manny will both end up broke. Floyd because he spent too much, and Manny because he never got paid what he was due.

        Watch.

On this day, his regular workout finished, the champ tells one of his helpers to beckon two women from his entourage into his locker room. As he showers, he calls for one of them, a tall, dark-haired woman named Jamie, to soap his back while he continues to carry on an animated conversation with five or six men in the room. Dressed for the club, she complies while making it clear she will not get into the shower. It's an uncomfortable moment, especially for Jamie, who goes about her work rather perfunctorily. To break the tension, 50 Cent summons his best Chris Rock.

I doubt Manny is going to be broke. He has that corrupt politician thing going on for him.

What's with boxers and their fascinations with having an entourage? They seem to enjoy being leeched off of. What do those women that follow them around even do that's useful?

                  That is an excellent question.

Something about having your confidence built up in the most challenging, individual sport.

                  I would guess.

The other politicians are WAAAY lower-key. They don't have the external financial demands, or the visibiity.

Easier for Francisco Viscaya to solicit/take a bribe than Manny Pacquiao.
