How far it can go? It depends on Haymon and GBP's management. When he retires Haymon/GBP are okay without him. It is what it is. He should have supported his best friend's (50c) efforts. He, with 50, would have had a better chance in making it without Haymon/GBP's clutches.

Highest paid athlete because he is the best athlete, not the best at business. He would earn 100's of millions at boxing weather he is good or bad at business.

No he wouldn't he'd be in a horrible contract constantly getting ripped off. If your not business savy in some way with the money he makes and that surrounds him he'd be broke as a joke. Because if he don't make a way to get it people around him will.

You guys don't even seem to know what a promotion company is or what it does.

Mayweather isn't going to promote, at least not until he's done boxing. He's "signed" fighters, but that doesn't mean anything without context. What is he directly doing for these fighters? He sure as **** isn't doing what a promoter does; setting up the fights, hire legal council, get insurance, advertise, etc. From what little info we have, it looks like he's just taking a cut from these fighters and letting GBP do all the work.

Being a promoter isn't difficult if you have money. Saying that, he would've already done it if he was really interested.

it wont take him as far imo, he ain't a risk taker, leaving 50 alone says a lot about him when it comes to independent business. he wanted none of it because it will be just him and 50 doing the job and he himself didn't believe it would have worked out, he wants to maintain his relationships with the haymons and the Golden Boy. No one can blame him though.They are needing him now, what happens if they won't already???
