The stipulation was i'll agree if you give me 50/50 cause Mayweather offered him 40 mill well Mayweather makes around 40 million every fight Pacquiao doesn't make any where near that Pac didn't want to take the 40 mill so go keep Making around 10 mill a fight and letting Arum rip you off.
His highest purse was 7.4 million which is one record by the NSAC ,but in his contract he is guaranteed 20 mill or 25 million depending on the fight thats over all so you get 25million then you take 40% for taxes 27.5 % for Arum plus the rest of the money for Arum gate and all of that 10% for Konz , Freddie Roach, Ariza, after all of that he ends up with 8-10 million but You don't know the difference between a purse and fight guarantee clown don't talk with me about the boxing business cause you don't know more than
You can't get 50/50 when i make 4 times more than you. Ask Vision quest when they told him he didn't even get paid for the Clottey fight but his fight guarantee was suppose to be 20 million.
Pacquiao asked for something he knew he shouldn't be asking for anyway he knew he wasn't going to get 50/50 so he wouldn't have to take the test that's the stipulation clown. Don't just comment on a sentence read and learn something. Let me teach you the difference between a purse and a fight guarantee.
ex. Pacquiao 7.4 million we will use 7mill for the example 7 million +18 mill =25 mill which is the fight guarantee 25 mill -40% for taxes = about 13.5 mill - 10% Konz= about 12mill- Maybe 1mill for Roach= 11mill-Ariza we will say 1 mill=10mill- another 27.5 percent for Arum= About 7.5 mill
After all is said and done he makes 8-10 mill a fight, but the fight grossed over 100 million where do you think the other 70plus mill is going to the promoter who paid million to put on the fight that's right Bob Arum Arum gets him twice with the 27.5 percent and the rest of the money.
Ex. Mayweather purse 25 mill vs ortiz take 40% for taxes around 13 million
but since Mayweather is a promoter too he gets all this PPV, gate, t-shirts, hotdogs, closed circuit revenue, movie theatre etc.
13 mill + fight sell 1 mill PPV at $60 a pop+ 60 mill- 40% for taxes around 40 mill so 13mill puse+ 40 mill ppv + 5 mill for gate+5 mill for theatre+ Tv rights then Mayweather pays ortiz 3 mill his manager 600,000 - 5 miill he paid for promo and everybody else he walks away with around 40 mill after taxes. And i jusst used an example of when it's at 1 mill PPV's
Do your research before you come at me don't just take people word for stuff do your research.

I swear Arum lives in some fantasy land. How's that outdoor stadium in Vegas coming along Bob? When's that big fight happening in Macau?
So do a little math. The vast portion of the money comes from PPV, possibly 80% or more. The PPV/Cable people take "at least 50% upwards". The promoter must get the equivalent of at least 25% or he may lose money. Then there are local and commission taxes to pay on everything. Then his trainers, and don't forget the 30% or so to the IRS, who are already owed about $4 mill, so I've read.
So who knows what he really ends up with. I'd say it would be a lot less than 40 mill, perhaps half. It's still a lot of money for a guy to make in one fight.

Even Mayweather agrees with that. Can't stop the truth, son.

The only difference between the Pacquiao that fought De La Hoya and the one that fought Cotto was....strategy. Makes total sense that Pacquiao and his camp chose to box Oscar when he just fought at super featherweight (against JMM) back in March of the same year. In the Cotto fight, Pacquiao went off the gameplan and engaged with Cotto. Both versions of Pacquiao weighed in at 142-144 and hydrated to 148.
I just find it hard to believe that he is juicing based on just weak speculation. I have no problem with theories, but none of them have been convincing..so far. That's why Pacquiao's defamation suit against Floyd is so cut & dry.
