Roach: Manny inks deal to fight Mayweather

The multi-awarded trainer said that with Pacquiao inking the deal, it is now up to Mayweather to complete his end the deal.

Mayweather-Pacquiao won't be at Cowboys Stadium; Staples Center offers $20M to host

The Floyd Mayweather-Manny Pacquiao fight apparently will not happen in Dallas after Mayweather's representative canceled a scheduled visit for a site survey at Cowboys Stadium.

Bob Arum, Pacquiao's promoter, said he received a call late Tuesday night from Richard Schaefer, the chief executive of Golden Boy Promotions and Mayweather's representative in the fight negotiations, informing him that this week's meeting in Dallas was off.

Arum said Schaefer told him the Mayweather side doesn't want the proposed March 13 fight in an outdoor stadium.

    Cowboys Stadium has a roof.

      Old news on article.

Demands on penalty for coming in overweight were made much earlier negotiated and agreed.

      See link I posted.
You should listen to your own advice dude. What have I been saying this entire time? Your link and the one I put up about Manny agreeing ARE THE SAME THING. ONE JUST HAS MORE DETAILS FROM THE "source". Find a new excuse.

Yes Manny signed the contract, you have yet to provide anything to the contrary.

Floyd got the contract and thought, "How am I going to get out of this one", and a few days he came out with the blood tests.

If I'm wrong show me a link where Floyd mentions blood tests before the 7th of March.

He beat up a woman - the mother of his kids - in front of the kids. He must have paid her some serious money to stay away from the press and get his sentence down to only 6 months.

You are a broken record. I just proven to you in 3 different ways that Manny did not sign the contract and your still saying the same thing. Floyd asked for drug testing right after Manny asked for his 10 million a pound over 147.

Why wouldnt they agree to the drug testing in the initial negotiations??

He had the opportunity to get his highest pay day and he let drug testing stop him from doing so???This guy feeds millions in his country and he's letting further drug testing, something that runs ramapnt in the sport, stop him from feeding millions and millions more??

You act like further drug testing would give the sport a black eye even though it's publicized that it runs rampant......
The fight will never happen bec floyd is ***** scared period. Cotto has a big chance if he can crack floyds jaw. In terms of osdt just like roach said they should test mayweather d whole year...nuff said.

I fail to comprehend how anyone believes Manny Pacquiao should be making anywhere near what Floyd is making. Floyd Mayweather generates the bigger numbers, therefore he should make the most....PERIOD! If Manny could make what Floyd offered him, then he would've already done it. He's in financial trouble according to various sources, VisionQwest being one of them,

First of all, the guy has looked atrocious in his last few outings. His flaws are becoming blatantly obvious...Poor jabbing, poor defense, and the lack of ability to cut off the ring (most notably in the Mosley fight). In his fight vs. JMM, he got countered all night long, and was handed a victory he CLEARLY did not deserve.

I understand that styles make fights; im all for that logic and at times it does come into play, but what Floyd did to JMM was a true boxing clinic, and that was after a 2 year layoff. At the end of the day, Manny Pacquiao WILL NOT come close to making what Floyd Mayweather generates. If the man says he will take less, then I expect him to keep to it. Its hard to look at Manny's last 6 fights as credible when he is fighting guys coming off of losses or at catchweights for vacant championships. Hell, Margarito and Clottey weren't even ranked by any sactioning body at the time of their title bouts with Pacquiao. Those fights were embarrassments to the sport and the championships.

Oscar "won" the Sturm fight...but we all no he didn't.

Records don't mean squat as long as there is corruption...

The last JMM let a lot of steam out of the Mayweather vs Pacman superfight.

"If it really was all about Pacquiao then I didn't have to fight all 42 opponents," said Mayweather. "All I had to do was come to the sport of boxing and fight one guy then I would have gone down as the best, just one guy. So I guess the 42 guys that I've faced didn't count."

This guy is crying for sympathy and understanding. He's trying to tell everyone that he doesn't have to face Pacquiao. That he's done enough.

Frankly, I don't know why people keep asking him about Pacquiao. It's over. It's not going to happen. Pacquiao is just two fights away from retirement. He's sick of boxing. Look at him. This fight should have happened a long time ago. I don't care who you want to blame. It's gone. It's dead. Time to move on.
