Mayweather will suffer the same fate if he sticks around for too long. People need to remember that he isn't immune to aging, although it might seem so right now. He said he plans to retire in 2 years, that's about 4-5 more fights. He better pick his opponents wisely.

Thing is we are not talking about Floyd in 5 yrs from now , its in the present and its Cotto , nobody is unbeatable forever thats just common sense , Floyds still in the zone right now !

Well for him to do it, he has to believe it. Nothing wrong with being confident, if a boxer thinks he won't win he wouldn't be fighting. Over-confidence has been his problem though, particularly in the Pac fight and vs unheralded guys like Chop-Chop and Torres. He has to treat this fight as the fight of his life and be 100% focused and careful in there from the get-go to the end.

Cotto will come into this fight in the best physical condition he has ever been in , Floyd brings that out in all his opponents , they train like animals because they have nothing to lose and everything to gain , there is no pressure on Cotto its all on Floyd , this is why Floyd talks so much because it makes him work like he does he puts the pressure on himself , Floyd creates that must do world , that desire to prove is what drives Floyd .

The key to getting the win in this fight will be adjustments. Floyd mentally is too technically sound.

It's true Mayweather has had little to gain in most of his recent fights, but he picks all his opponents. Pac fight was there for him the last few years, Martinez fight is there for him if he wants to change that. Hopefully Cotto does come in not only as sharp and as focused as he can be but with an effective gameplan and be able to stick to it as he has been able to in his last few fights. If he doesn't he'll get picked off at will with the speed and skill and disparity and his natural style being easy to hit for a guy like Floyd and he will likely be stopped

true, but Cotto's not as dumb as made out, when he's has been in trouble before he has been able to pull it out minus those two losses, even against Pac he changed it up a bit and made it a bit frustrating for Pac in the last few rounds. I agree Mayweather has the clear edge there though
