If Cotto started working the jab and then a right hook to the body while moving to his right, he would find some success. Also, only having one game plan is a straight route to failure against Floyd. Think about this, it takes Floyd 2-3 rounds to figure the opponent out so if you have 6 different plans, you should have a fair shot at being competitive.
Additionally, If Cotto switches southpaw and moves to his backside working the jab, straight left, and right hook to the body, he'll catch Floyd more often than not as Floyd is shoulder rolling the straight left his left oblique will be exposed for Cotto's right hook.
I think if someone fought Floyd while having plan, after plan, after plan and switched things up every other round, Floyd would resort to serious cheating out of frustration. Rabbit punches, head butts, elbows, tripping...whatever it took to not lose, even if he weren't down too far on the cards, just due to the sheer frustration of not having figured the guy out.
Might get Floyd to DQ himself rather than lose straight up.
Green K given.

Can anyone tell me how many 35 year old welters, are still improving and still not in there prime, there have been in the history of boxing?
And it seems all the improvements are physical.

Floyd avoided the best Pacquiao.
Floyd is not tested when he is on vacation? Plenty of time for PEDs to clear his system but still gain the benifits.
Also this explains his long vacations.
Well you didn't really believe his story he wanted to spend more time with his family did you?
If you say so. However popular public opinion plays out the truth always comes out. Floyd is to boxing what Jose Canseco was to baseball. You can change the narrative nd spin it anyway you want. The truth will never change. Manny did the same as ODH and SHane. WHy, you gotta ask them. Me, id have fought the best, at my best.
I think floyd moved out the way and let the fighters at ww build there name and brand up so a fight with them would be more profitable. Same thing every top boxing star has done since 1970 or so. So if they can do it, so can floyd. Its the perk of the position.
Of course when he came back he fought JMM at 146, renegotiating 144 weight clause and paying $600k when he couldn't make weight. Funny, floyd didn't have a problem with such a highly skilled opponent.

There are more facets to winning a fight than purely physical. What would Floyd do if frustrated, how would he look losing his cool? Something to think about, there are no certainties in boxing.....nothing is statistically guaranteed.
