Stop bringing up Manny. It has nothing to do with him whether this is a good fight or not. You dont need to keep bringing him into the convo to make a point.

On its own merits, its a less than stellar fight.

And how many times do this need to be repeated? When Floyd fought Marquez he literally jumped 2 weight classes to fight a 146 pounder who cheated the scale, but atleast with Manny he worked his way up, fight after fight.

I know you guys will spin it once again and say well 144 is 144, nahahayayayaa.

And he didn't jump 2 weight classes to fight Manny???? There's no way you can say Pac-JMM III at 144 was a good fight, but then s**t on Mayweather-Marquez at 144. Both were crappy fights going in, but JMM proved he can fight effectively at 144 lbs in the Pac fight. Therefore, Floyd should get his due for dominating him.

And if Mayweather-Cotto right now is a crappy fight to you, than you better say it was for Pac in 2009, or else you're just bias. In 2009, Cotto was past his prime-still good, same as he is now. Pac will get more credit though, because he beat Cotto first, rightfully so.

Floyd....where were you 5 years ago when thee dudes were ready and closer to their primes? You chose to fight them when you felt it was safe, it's all good just be honest about what you did.

Shane could have got it in 2005-2006, but he had a trip planned and needed to get his tooth checked out, don't ou remember that??? And Floyd wanted Cotto while both were TR from 04-06, but TR said he wasn't ready yet. It was only after Floyd left TR and stated talking about retiring in 07 that they started saying he was avoiding him. Cotto leaves TR and the fight is made.....

Jr Ducked Margo and Cotto back in the day . WHY?

answer : connected to the heart!? I am thinking it is.

Ran from little Hatton, was put on his heels by Hatton, Hatton bumrushed due to fair but firm, got cracked from a running JR.

Did nothing in the ODH fight

How could he brag on beating little JMM, and it took a good while to adjust to the new 140's JR came in way heavy, cheated

He got really cracked in the Mosley fight

He got cracked in the zab fight , glove hit the canvas

He got by in the ORTIZ fight

Whats interesting to me is that Cotto can make a fight of this if he won't quit.

Hopefully Cotto will be game and stay in this fight, fight thru the intial frustration and not show frustration but BITE DOWN and win this fight, shock JR, shock the Mayweathers, put a cane in Rogers hand but I fear its dreaming.
