Sorry you're wrong there, he said Cooney hit the hardest.

im more of an expert than you are. come to think of it, damn near anybody is more of an expert than you are.

foreman and holmes calling cooney the hardest puncher they ever faced? wow, foreman destroyed cooney in cooney's last fight. and cooney couldnt even KD holmes, a feat that mike tyson and earnie shavers had no trouble doing. hes the hardest puncher they faced, you say they said... prove it... cuz i (among others) seriously dont believe you.

Larry Holmes was 38 and coming off a 2 year layoff against Tyson. And Tyson was only able to stop him in the 5th round after a vicious barrage and many of his hardest punches in succession.

Shavers almost knocked Holmes out with one punch in their second fight. Virtually any other in the fighter would have been knocked cold by that punch.

just goes to show you that at least shavers was a harder hitter than cooney.

It's funny how EvilSaint is making such a big deal of this. We will never know because we wouldn't stand up to those kind of shots but Shavers, Foreman & Cooney were the hardest hitters in history and you can't just judge from literature. Impossible.

putting cooney in the same category as the true hitters is disgraceful to the true hitters and an insult to urself.

OK because you are an expert. After all, Holmes and Foreman consider him first or second BUT they don't really know much.
