Like I said before the Dawson fight, I'd like Hopkins to fight on. I predicted Hopkins would not lose badly to Dawson, and I predicted the loser of the fight would argue that he should've won. And that's exactly what happened. And I said to the people watching the fight with me, in the middle rounds I said:

"You know, even if Hopkins loses this fight, he still tough to beat, he probably beats 9 out of the top 10 LHW's. And he probably beats every 168 top 10 guy except Dirrell and Ward".

And even the Ward and Dirrell fights would probably be close too.

Hopkins beats the Pascal-Cloud winner, he beats Cleverly.

I think Chad will always beat him, but not dominate him. And I think Campillo could beat Hopkins, but I'd rather lean towards Hopkins in that matchup.

All this, and the guy is 47 years old.

Would be good for Bute to get his name out there in America. But it would be another onesided affair with Hopkins fouling enough to survive.

        Hopkins needs to fade away

Hop had his run and its time to retire and step aside. How much money does a guy need???

Hopkins is crawling with money, after all his late undeserved big paydays. He may still have the first dollar he ever earned. Why would anyone want to see a guy like Hopkins in a boxing ring....and pay for it?? He's really an MMA fighter.

Too bad he did lose badly, did you watch the fight? Just because a judge somehow had it a draw doesn't mean it was close, it was 10-2 in rounds atleast, the old man needs to quit before he gets hurt. He caught Pavlik, Tarver, Winky, Jones 2 and Pascal at the right time (I'm sure he planned it that way). He is done just like all the greats that don't when to quit while their ahead.

Well said bro! Hopkins is still one of the best in the game. I think he should forget 175 and snatch Tarver's belt at Cruiserweight. At this point he should only take fights that add to his legacy!

                      Hopkins could probably beat Bute
he has to choose selectively if he's gonna keep fighting
give him props for Dawson because that was a bad fight to take
Bute doesn't have a style that Hopkins would struggle with
think Bute has a rematch clause if Froch beats him
but he oughta beat Froch, and if he does, good fight for Hopkins
Ward can deal with Bute later on at either 168 or 175
want Hopkins to go out with a win if he's gonna retire, give Bute to him
