Actually what really happened is that he was supposed to fight Guzman, but Guzman couldnt make weight, and Nate ended up being inactive for about a year because of it.

Nate got old, it happens. But for a short period of time, yes, he was the best in the division before losing his title on the scales against Funeka.

Im not really blaming Marquez for not fighting him or anything...it was a very short window. But my point was simply that Casamayor wasnt the best lightweight at the time, thats all.
