No doubt Rios has a chance of dropping Marquez, but pretty much anybody does these days. But what happens after that? Marquez gets up and boxes his ****ing face off for the remainder of the fight and wins a lopsided decision. That's what.

Get your facts straight man. When marquez was campaigning at 135 just like khan he was not under contract with Top Rank.

I wonder if Nate would have given him a free shot?

            At 135lbs?

Khan never called Marquez out at 135lbs and Khan was getting put down by Limond, who makes Paulie look like Hearns, back then, so do you really think Khan would have beat Marquez back then.

Did you watch the rest of the fight, where Marquez got tagged repeatedly? It was not any easy night for him by any means, even if the knockdown didnt happen.

I know you guys like Marquez, but his time his limited, and hes always been rather easy to hit.

No such thing as a lucky shot in boxing.

Rios possibly can but as everybody know with Marquez, knocking him down is like pressing the start button on a whoop ass machine.

And Rios would only get that oportunity because unlike Pacquiao, Marquez would take the fight to Rios and become a boxer puncher..

At 140lbs Marquez beat Rios in 7 for me but Rios doesn't even deserve the shot, because he lost his last fight and because he can't even be bother to make weight. To me that show a lack of respect for your opponent.
