    End of an Era...

In 2001, a 36 year old Hopkins was "too old" to beat Trinidad. He proved everyone wrong.

He went on to become the only boxer to fight for, win and defend all 4 Boxing titles and Ring Magazine title.

He beat the younger lions in De La Hoya, Tarver, Pavlik, and Pascal.

But alas, it had to come to an end one day.

Everything has to come to an end, and 2012 is the year for the great Bernard Hopkins to go. But he has done too much for this sport, a true guru in the game, and let me tell you something, Dawson didnt beat Hopkins, Age beat Hopkins. 3 years ago Hopkins would beat Dawson and send him to the grave.

I actually don't think anything changed whatsoever. He looked more or less the same, there are champion fighters he would still be competitive with, but Dawson is not one of them.

I agree. Hopkins is a living legend and he deserves respect. One of the best ever.
