Resorts Hotel & Casino, Atlantic City - Yusaf Mack won a twelve round unanimous decision over Omar Sheika and capture the vacant USBA light heavyweight title. Mack dominated Sheika for most of the fight and dropped him in the twelfth and final round with a hard lefthook. Mack (20-4-2, 17 KO) recovers from last June's TKO defeat to IBF champion Tavoris Cloud.
