Liam Smith's May 18th British welterweight title eliminator with Ronnie Heffron has been put on the back burner as Heffron has picked up a hand injury. Both Dean Powell, Frank Warren's matchmaker, and Smith confirmed the news to BoxingScene.com earlier tonight, with Powell informing us that Heffron's injury is not serious, but will prevent him training for a few weeks.
