Emanuel Steward doesn't believe Chavez has really been making 160

In a boxingvoice radio interview, he said.
In this fight here, we will make sure that Julio Cesar Chavez Jr. is a middleweight. I have a lot of doubts about whether he has actually made 160 pounds.
    Interesting...

Who isn't su****ious about the Chavez Jr camp at weigh ins and not being drug tested. It's a Top Rank fighter, what do people expect.

I like the fact that he cheats to win.

I like the bad boy mafia image of boxing.

Everybody wants it to be clean and sportsman-like.

        How boring.

I am sure stuff is shady but the bigger the fight the harder that is to pull off.

Just saying this puts a watchful eye on the weigh in, so everything will be legit.

I don't find it surprising that people think he's cheating. I find it surprising that Emanuel Steward, an HBO commentator, would go out and say Chavez might be cheating in public.

I remember seeing a video or documentary I can't extacly remember but they use too "cheat" the scales for DE LA HOYA when he fought at 130 135 and 140.

Oh I am sure they did.

But a good trainer puts the crimp in any shady stuff going on.

All you do is put the word out in the media, and everyone is on watch.

It's a smart move by Steward.

considering how much he rehydrates, almost 30 lbs over night, it would not surprise me.
