    Is it true Ricky Hatton didnt know how to work the pads?

    i heard somewhere that ricky hatton didnt know how to do pad work while training. anybody know if this is true.

    i know he hit the heavy bag and body bag his trainer use to wear a lot.

      SR. said he didn't know how to hit the pads.

      Bit of an exaggeration but obviously he don't hit pads like Floyd.

            If you watch him training in his early days he didn't do pad work like most boxers do. But it worked for him for so long and he was one helluva good fighter.

                he did do some pad work on hbo 24/7, i remember him trying to imitate floyd as a joke or something..
