Boxingscene recently spoke to former light heavyweight champion Chad Dawson (30-1) who faces Bernard Hopkins on April 28th on Atlantic City. Dawson is focused on his rematch with Hopkins but admitted that he is interested in avenging his only career defeat which came against Jean Pascal in 2010.

Would love to see Andre Ward vs. Chad Dawson once Ward moves up to 175. I'd prefer that fight happens in 2013-2014 though, after Ward leaves 168 for good.

Ward V Dawson certainly could be a huge fight but that fight certainly has to simmer for a long time. I usually don't like to wait on fights because often it doesn't pan out but this is one that needs to be billed as the next great American V American fight.

Agree. I'd like to see Ward fight 3-4 more fights at 168. Bute is a must, along with others like Stevenson, Anthony Dirrell, Andre Dirrell, Groves, DeGale, and than take one fight at 175 before a Dawson fight. Maybe someone like Gabriel Campillo???

If Dawson beats Hopkins, I'd like to see him fight the Pascal-Cloud winner. He could also fight Kessler if he looks good at 175, Erdei, Cleverly, etc.

Than if they were to meet in Late 2013/Early 2014, having kept winning, it'd be a huge fight at 175.

That pascal loss was the best thing that happened to him... Pascal wouldn't win more than 3 rounds if they fought again. nobody in or around LHW can touch chad, and is KO rate is about to start rising
