If you are a boxing fan..

....then how can you not like watching boxing of as many fighters as you can?

Old , new, hated, loved, amatuer, proffesional, olympic, etc

If you are a boxing fan how can you not admire both Manny and Floyd?
The Klitshko brothers, whom many call 'boring'. Boring?! its their method of boxing!

How can you not watch tapes from the 20s,30s,40s,50s, etc up until the present day to see how the wonderful sport was back then.

I think most people are fans of:

    1) Big fights , i.e floyd vs manny , tyson vs lewis, etc
    2) Boxers/fighters, i.e tyson, prince naz, ali, etc

...and not fans of the sport.

Was talking to some people today about boxing.

    They had :

Tyson , Ali, Foreman, pac in thier top 5 of all time. i have no idea who the fifth choice was.

    lol crazy ish bro's

you're basing this off of shit you've read here
that kinda shit never really applies in real life
casual fans only know about the fighters who are big stars
people who love boxing pretty much like all good fighters
there's just some guys they particularly dislike for whatever reason

Oh its cool to like certain fighters. thats no probs. It when people sorta like one guy only and watch him and thats it. Thats being a fan of that particular boxer, not boxing.

You can be an Arnie fan and only watch his movies. That doesnt make you a fan of cinema/movies, a film buff, a film critic, no, it makes u a fan of arnie.

again, you're basing this off material you've read here
what people in real life do you know that do that shit?
casual fans are labeled as such by diehard boxing fans
the casuals themselves don't consider themselves ''boxing fans'' at all
they'll buy a heavily hyped fight like they'll see a hyped new movie

Excellent question. I always wonder this myself & I think you are correct to some degree as I don't believe you can be a real hardcore boxing fan & only like a couple guys or constantly talk about P4P fighters being boring.

well it's doubtful they consider themselves to be boxing fans then
maybe they watch a fight here and there
but those guys won't tell you they're boxing fans when you talk to them
it's nothing to get worked up over unless they did
