Comments Thread For: Bernard Hopkins: This Might Be My Last Fight on Saturday
According to WBC light heavyweight champion Bernard Hopkins (52-5-2, 32KOs), Saturday's rematch with Chad Dawson (30-1, 17KOs) is possibly his last fight as a professional.
Finally he should have retired years ago because he is a boring fighter and a drama queen always faking low blows and injuries in the ring, he slammed Mosley for running against Pacman well at least Mosley ain't faking **** in the ring, his foot was really bloody and blistered, you were known for faking through out your career.
Anytime a fight got tough he looked for a way out, he was no throwback, he is a self proclaimed throwback.
Watch his fight with Calzaghe he was hamming it up cause he was gettin flurried.
He couldn't even put away a shot Jones Jr! who was knocked out by lesser guys recently, and he was crying on the floor exaggerating an injury hoping to get a DQ win over Jones. Lame
Regardless of what u think about him the dude is a legend doing what he is doing at his age. If he can get a win over a young solid fighter like Dawson then that will just be the icing on the cake.
This statement confirms what my intuition told me, Hopkins was going to lose this fight, that he looks old in this fight. He might try to go out with a **** though but I don't feel good about Hopkins in this fight. Normally I feel that Hopkins is guaranteed but I got a bad feeling about this. Normally I'm pretty dead on.......just saying
