Castillo-Corrales III is ON

Promoter Gary Shaw has informed Maxboxing that the third bout between Jose Luis Castillo and Diego Corrales has been set for February 4th in Texas.

An exact venue has not be chosen. The fight will be televised on Showtime.

In their first meeting in May, Corrales would get off the canvas twice to stop Castillo in ten rounds, in what is considered one of the best fights of all-time. In October, Castillo would exact revenge by stopping Corrales in four rounds with a devastating left hook.

Damn, these guys are going again already, thats 3 times in 9 months. That is pretty damn insane. I picked Castillo to win both of the first 2 fights, and I don't see this one being much different, Castillo by KO in 7. But the first fight was actually pretty damn close, and Corrales has shown that you cant just count him out. I'm sure he'll bring his A-game, and I'd imagine he'll change his strategy a bit. But I think Castillo is just too good. You know the former chief sparring partner of JCC has to be good, and its amazing that he has never been down (even in the first Corrales fight). Can Corrales be the one to floor him?
