And "delete his legacy" refers to the fact that before the fight, it was Naseem is this and Naseem is that, but after the fight, people saw him as a loser and never really talked about his wins ever again. Whereas you have guys like Oscar and Trinidad and Whitaker where people always talk about their great wins, I dont hear a damn thing about Naseems legacy, seemed to go down the drain didn't it buddy?
Are you seriously trying to accuse me of nut hugging Naseem when you have written you expect Cotto to win on May 5th?? Bahahahaha, is this guy serious or is he some known troll??

Naseem's legacy around the world is how it should be. He's remembered as one of the most entertaining boxers of all time, inside and outside of the ring, as one of the most naturally gifted boxers of all time yet someone who under achieved and didn't fulfill his true potential. He had the potential to be an ATG, his resume shows he didn't achieve that.

I as a Naseem fan can at least admit that.

However you as a Cotto fan, expects him to beat Mayweather on May 5th. Hoping he beats him is fine, expecting he beats him is borderline ******ness, something you have proved is your speciality.

At no point was he getting his "ass beat". Barrera didn't even commit to sustained attacks because he was so weary of the Prince's power. Barrera boxed a smart fight.
he got his as$ whipped and humiliated. He got embarrassed out of boxing after he got owned and realized everyone thought he was an idiot all along.

Bwahahaha, ''gave up on life'' are you serious???

The man has been living like a king, you can tell just by looking at his fat arse. He's got buisnesses all over the world, and he's given up on life???

Well I am a Miguel Cotto fan, and in my position, I can easily with pride and a fat smile on my face say Naz has no heart.

You see Dirk, as a Cotto fan, I am in probably the perfect position to say Naz has no heart, because after Naz got his ass handed to him once, he pretty much gave up on life, whereas Cotto who has took 2 once in a lifetime beatings, has come back to be a current and beloved champion about to make more money than he ever has in his life facing the best fighter in the world with the support of one of the biggest fan bases in boxing today. Thats the bottom line Dirk
Once again, Naz fought after the Barrera fight. He was just done with boxing. He made his money and got out.

He would never quit in the ring like Kneeguel did on two occasions.

You think it takes heart to fight exclusively for money like Kneeguel is?

Actually I'll admit that Cotto has little chance to win, but I am still giving him a chance. I am capable of admitting that. You must be a bored fan, what with your fighter being forgotten and irrelevant for years. At least I have a fighter to support and back up, you've probably long forgotten that feeling.

Anyways, potential means absolutely zero unless you can get stuff done. You just kind of owned yourself by saying he had unfulfilled potential yet his legacy is actually as it should be. So youre saying his legacy is how it should be, which is being beat by an old Barrera and having unfulfilled potential? Give yourself a break kid and stop.

                Thats a nice myth.

Do people think multi-millionaire boxers like Naz actually give a ***?

I am actually a fan of Miguel Cotto, i was supporting him against Margarito and was happy when he got his revenge, however no Cotto fan can ever be in a position to question any other fighters heart, ever.

Cotto has quit and took a knee in his career, that right there smashes his fans right to question anyone else's heart into pieces.

People, tell me this man is trolling, please tell me he's trolling.

                    Naseem is older than Barrera

This guy is trolling right people????

                      amen to that brother

i have very fond memories of watching Naseem Hamed when i was growing up he was an exceptional talent

his fight with kevin kelly still gives me chills watching it what an epic war that was!!

I think Naz had plenty of heart

anyone that thinks he gave up because Barrera beat him need to watch the documentary Little Prince Big Fight it's a very revealing look as to Hamed's mindset going into the fight compared to Barrera (who was training in a public gym for the fight who does that??) and his performance in the fight (or lack of one) makes more sense after seeing the documentary
